Doorbell cameras have captured countless memorable moments—from grateful delivery drivers to unexpected acts of kindness. But for Hannah Bell, a working mom, her doorbell camera does more than just keep her home secure; it's become a source of daily joy thanks to her 23-month-old son, Landon.

Bell shared with Newsweek, "I started consistently leaving for work before my son woke up in the morning, so we didn't get to see each other most mornings."

To bridge this gap, Bell’s husband, George, began encouraging Landon to leave sweet messages for his mom via their doorbell camera each time they left or entered the home. Bell shared an adorable compilation of these heartfelt greetings on her TikTok account.

"I get so excited waiting for that doorbell notification 💙," she captioned her TikTok post.

In the video, little Landon sweetly tells his mom that he "loves her" and sends plenty of kisses through the camera, typically while clutching a snack or sippy cup, with his dad, George, joining in.

"Seeing the videos makes me feel so happy, loved, and missed," Bell told Newsweek. "It's so hard as a working parent to be away from your baby for most of the day, so those little videos get me through the day and remind me he is thinking of me. It is absolutely the highlight of my day. I wait all morning at my work desk waiting for the notification."

Bell usually works in the office three days a week, and this touching routine has been ongoing for a few months. George, who travels occasionally for work, also gets the same affectionate messages from Landon. "Sometimes my husband travels for work for multiple days in a row too and Landon, will talk to him on the doorbell too," Bell shared.

The heartwarming video garnered many emotional reactions from viewers. One TikToker commented, "This is the sweetest thing ever! I hope he never stops doing this! ❤️" Another viewer emotionally wrote, "🥹🥹🥹 ugh… I just cant."

Bell has openly shared more aspects of her life as a working mom on TikTok. Recently, she posted about her day working from home with Landon, captioning it:

"We use[d] to wfh together multiple days a week, but haven’t done it in months. Today reminded me it’s not for the weak😅."

Woman kidnapped and trapped—until two teens noticed her silent cry for help

With global challenges on the rise, being vigilant about our surroundings has become crucial. Often, even the most subtle signs can indicate someone in need or serve as an important warning.

Two observant teenagers demonstrated this when they saved a woman’s life a decade ago. Aaron Arias, then 19, and Jamal Harris, then 17, were driving through Dallas, Texas to pick up a friend when they spotted a young woman in the backseat of a nearby car. Harris, from the passenger seat, noticed the woman and thought she was "attractive." To their astonishment, she seemed to be mouthing words at them. According to NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth, Harris quickly understood that she was asking for help.

Entitled hotel guest refuses to accept reality, so employee takes her on a wild ride

It has been said that the customer is always right, but customers always seem determined to be the exception. Front desk workers deal with all kinds of guests, from the polite and understanding to the entitled and irrational. While most complaints are routine, some customers take things to an entirely new level. One hotel receptionist shared a particularly absurd encounter on Reddit’s r/MaliciousCompliance, detailing how a guest insisted she had a reservation for a floor that didn’t even exist—and demanded to be taken there.

The Reddit user, whose post has since been deleted, explained that they worked at a hotel that used to be a Days Inn. The hotel only had three floors, and reservations were only taken at the front desk—there were no online or third-party bookings. On a busy weekend when the hotel was fully booked, an elevator went out of service, making things even more chaotic for the staff.
