When TikToker Kristen Cushing's (@kwrlld) dad, Ray, and step-mom, Maxine, got married–she decided to vlog the day from her 12-year-old perspective. Now 19, Kristen decided to edit her original video and give it to her parents for Christmas–and the reaction was just as sweet and emotional 7 years later.

"POV: you vlogged your dad & step moms wedding when you were 12 and edited it as a Christmas present to the both of them," she writes in the video. She adds in the caption that her footage had never been seen before this. In her edited vlog, Taylor Swift's song "Lover" is overlayed in the video, which pans to Kristen's dad and step-mom sitting together on a couch as they watch. Maxine is completely overjoyed, placing her hand over her mouth. Max puts his arm around her, fighting off tears as they both beam and watch their day from Kristen's perspective.

Viewers wanted to hear Ray and Maxine's reaction (without Taylor Swift singing), so she also shared a video with the original audio. Maxine says, "Oh my God!" at the beginning, and they both utter sweet gasps and sighs throughout. This post got more touching replies. "if ever there was a sign you’re a good step parent, this is one 🫶," one wrote. And another touched TikToker added, "Your dad fighting his tears is the SWEETEST thing ever."

To honor his love and presence in his life, Spencer decided to legally change his last name to match his--and Ker blessed TikTok with the heartwarming video. "Best buds forever. My son, who doesn’t have a father, decided to change his last name and be the only one to pass on his pop pops last name," Ker wrote in the video's caption. "He is the only grandchild and they have been inseparable since birth."

His grandpa begins to read a poem that Spencer framed titled "My Name, My Tribute" as the two sit side-by-side in a chair. Man builds special place for hikers to process grief during holiday season

The holiday season can be one of the most difficult times to deal with grief. Memories and traditions of the past may no longer be as the loss of a loved one and its permanence is felt. So Mark Beaulieu (@sparkybeaulieu), a paramedic for 40 years, decided to build a Wind Phone on a popular hiking trail in his area to help those struggling with grief this holiday season. In a video shared by his daughter, Sydney Beaulieu (@sydneybeaulieu), she captured her dad clearing snow from a bench in front of the phone–located in North Bay, Ontario at Canadore College on the Sugar Shack hiking trail. "My dad built this in our favorite hiking spot & it's perfect for those who are grieving this holiday season," she wrote in the video.

There is a rotary wall phone located inside a wood stand, with a touching plaque explaining the purpose of the Wind Phone. "A Wind Phone is for anyone who has lost someone special in their life," it reads. "We hope you find comfort in expressing feelings, sharing memories and saying the goodbyes you never had the opportunity to say."

Grandma raised during Great Depression finally gets Christmas gift longed for as a child

Little ones at Christmas write their gift wish lists with hope and anticipation. But for the grandma of TikToker Lola (@elle.nic), there was one thing on her list each year that never made it under the tree: a doll. It was a gift she never received due to her family's struggles during The Great Depression–something she had shared with them. And her granddaughter, Lola, was listening. To make this Christmas one of the most meaningful for her grandma, Lola knew exactly what to get her.

The video begins with the camera focused on Lola's grandma, who is decked out in her holiday best with a bow in her hair and festive sweater. "My 90 year old Grandma always told stories of how she never got a doll when she was a little girl," the video explains. "She grew up during The [Great] Depression on a farm and her family couldn't afford much." Her grandma is sitting in a chair opening up a present when she realizes what it is: the doll she has always longed for.
