Public meltdowns are nothing new, but when a loud and frustrated customer started yelling in a Walmart, he had no idea that his most unexpected critic was about to mock him to perfection.

Reddit user u/thats-the-tea_sis shared the hilarious story of how her 2-year-old daughter overheard a man throwing a dramatic tantrum in the store—and responded in a way that had everyone struggling to keep a straight face.

A shopping trip takes a dramatic turn

The mom was grocery shopping when she noticed a frustrated older man return from the customer service desk, loudly complaining to anyone who would listen.

"Don't buy apple juice at Walmart! Walmart stinks! They won't listen to the apple juice recalls! Walmart stinks!"

His booming voice echoed through the store, leaving other shoppers—including the mom—confused but amused.

A toddler with perfect comedic timing

While most customers ignored the outburst, the mom’s toddler found it hilarious—so much so that she instantly copied him.

"My toddler hears this and all of a sudden yells at the top of her lungs, 'Gaw-wah maw!' and laughed," the mom wrote.

It took her a second to process what had just happened, but then it clicked:

"It was the same cadence as his last sentence, just not the words. She legit just mocked this guy."

The cashier immediately made eye contact, both trying not to burst out laughing.

Trying (and failing) to parent in the moment

The mom knew she had to do some damage control, so she gently corrected her daughter:

"Baby, no, not right now, not the right time."

Luckily, the angry customer didn’t hear her—though his wife probably did but chose to ignore it.

The internet loved every second of it

People on Reddit were cracking up over the toddler’s unfiltered honesty, with many praising kids for their ability to call out nonsense.

User u/SuperElectricMammoth summed it up perfectly:

"This is what I love about toddlers—they have no filter about cutting through what they see as b******t."
— u/SuperElectricMammoth

Another user, u/deedeejayzee, admitted they would have rewarded the toddler instantly:

"As a mom, I can totally believe this happened. As an Auntie, I would have bought her any candy she wanted right then. Toddlers are hilarious and they all come up with new ways to embarrass their parents. They are little geniuses."

Meanwhile, u/seattleseahawks2014 couldn’t help but appreciate the absurdity of the whole situation:

"I mean, I get why he was mad probably and not going to hold it against him, but this whole situation is funny—including him ranting while holding half a bottle of apple juice and your kid copying him."

A grocery store visit to remember

For the mom, what started as a normal shopping trip turned into a memory she’ll never forget.

Her toddler may have embarrassed her for a moment, but she also gave the entire store a reason to smile—and proved that sometimes, kids have the best comedic timing of all.

Entitled woman steals a man’s seat on a plane so he tricks her in the best way

Air travel is stressful enough without entitled passengers making it worse. Whether it's armrest hoggers or seat recliners, there's always someone who makes the journey unpleasant. But one airline passenger took things to another level—flat-out refusing to move from a seat she didn't pay for.

Reddit user u/compile_commit shared the wild story, which involved his cousin flying from Ahmedabad to Kolkata on Indigo Airlines. He had specifically booked an exit row aisle seat and even paid extra for it. However, when he boarded, he found a woman already sitting there, completely unwilling to move.
